Eucalyptus

“Eucalyptus” wooden bracelet

As its primary decorative element the wooden bracelet features eucalyptus leaves, chosen by Bonnie L. to symbolize her love for a sister who is as elegant and as strong-willed as the exotic flora.

For “Eucalyptus” I wanted to create a piece that was reminiscent of a walk in the forest on a sunny day; when you look at the leaves in the trees and they cast a shadow on the forest floor, chaotic and yet calming at the same time.

“Eucalyptus” is hand-carved from a single piece of Caucasian walnut. It is finished using Danish oil.
