Episodes, created using techniques new to the artist, reveals an honest, internal conversation. It is the conscious acceptance of one’s self, and the duality and polarity of the human soul. Using materials new to the artist, the piece reflects on the cyclical experience of emotional emptying and regeneration.

The chosen circular shape has no beginning, no end, and no direction. It represents a continuous experiential process that is inescapable.

Parts of the circle are soft and bright, depicting serenity, joy and fulfillment. Others are dark, jagged and sharp; broken and separated, signifying depression and emptiness.

These sections, between which is felt a constant tension and unrest, sit upon a single wire, the life path of a person who will experience both these states again and again and again and again and again...
