Woodcarving art of Arkansas state symbols!

When William M. heard about the old English tradition of giving your loved one a carved wooden spoon, he immediately came to me with a request: he needed a hand-carved Arkansas-themed Love spoon for the wedding of two dear friends.

​

“Razorback” is topped with the mascot of the University of Arkansas and adorned with apple blossoms, Arkansas’s state flower. I am very pleased with how everything turned out! 

 

The Love spoon is carved from a single piece of Caucasian walnut. It is finished in Danish oil and measures 25 x 10 x 7 cm.
